Terms of Service

Version 1.0.0 · Effective 30 June 2026

Skillhood Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Skillhood is operated by Skillhood B.V., based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands (CoC: 00000000, VAT: NL000000000B00). Questions: legal@skillhood.app.

2. Role of the platform (mediation)

Skillhood is solely a mediation platform that connects clients with independent service providers. Any service agreement is concluded directly between client and provider. Skillhood is not a party to that agreement, is not an employer, and is not liable for the performance or quality of the service.

3. Independent status (Dutch DBA law)

Providers act as independent entrepreneurs. Use of the platform creates no employment relationship between Skillhood and the provider, or between client and provider. Providers are responsible for their own taxes, insurance and any Chamber of Commerce registration.

4. Payment

For version 1, payment takes place off-platform, directly between client and provider. Any budget shown in the app is indicative only.

5. User obligations

You provide accurate information, do not use the platform for unlawful purposes, and respect other users. Misuse may lead to suspension.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts (art. 6:230o Dutch Civil Code). For services fully performed within that period at the consumer's express request, this right may lapse after the consumer has agreed.

7. Liability

Skillhood makes reasonable efforts to keep the platform working but offers no guarantees. Skillhood's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Oost-Brabant district.
